100wc

 I was sitting in the living room. Suddenly, darkness enveloped the room. I was home alone. I didn't know what was happening. My family had gone to my cousin's house to drop off some Cupcakes my mum made. I heard a loud crash. I was so scared so I rang my family to see what happened. They said they couldn't come back home. The roads are closed and there has been a car crash. I looked outside and went for a walk around the block. There was a car that crashed into the power line pole. The cops were surrounding.

    I like this story, Nicole. The full stops make it really easy to read. I like the way you make us readers infer at the end why the house became dark. Nice ending!
